Melrose is excited to announce that we have found a beautiful building in Murray Hill, where we will be able to conduct school in January 2024.
This is a large renovation project for our school. We will be doing our renovation projects in phases to get our new building where we want it to be! In the first few months, we will be doing minimum renovations to pass the requirements mandated by DCF and the Fire Division. Phase 2 will involve bigger renovations to help get us to the vision of our Dream School!
Melrose will continue to raise funds for this project. We are seeking out fundraising ideas and donations.
December Contingency Plan
Melrose December calendar is contingent with our building renovation staying on track with minor unforeseen delays. Should there be any major delays that change our targeted move-in dates, we will communicate this to all families as soon as possible. As of today (11/9/23), things are on track, but keep in mind that could change. We have a contingency plan in place that we can utilize if necessary, and Mars Hill Church, our current landlords, are cooperating with us in case there are any delays in our project.
At this time, for the upcoming month of December, Melrose will be extending its Winter Break to 3 weeks, as opposed to our usual 2-week closure. This change is a result of our relocation to the new campus in Murray Hill.
Since we plan to be open a shorter amount of time in December, Melrose will be giving all school families a prorated 25% off of tuition for the month of December. This will help you to find other childcare during the extra week that we are closed. Tuition will have the prorated rate per child. Melrose will run tuition on Friday, December 1st for all school families.
If your family is interested in contributing your 25% prorated amount of tuition back to Melrose to support our building renovations, please inform us by November 28th. We would be grateful for your donation. Should you have any inquiries regarding tuition, please do not hesitate to reach out.
